Backpack Job
With a big voice the children will say “Good Morning.”
They will then take their water bottle, message book and towel out of their bags and place them in their respectful places. Then prepare for the day.

Morning Circle Time
Check the day and date and weather. Lively sing and dance to the songs of the month. Discuss and ask questions about the monthly topics.

- Arts and Crafts
The older children (5~6 year olds) will enjoy making and writing stories with everyone.
The younger children (4~5 year olds) will learn the rules of phonics and strengthen their reading skills.
Everyone will express their opinions and ideas in English.
Each age will be divided in smaller groups and start in one of the three daily activities, Study, Reading and Craft, and rotate in order.

Free Play
While using English, the children will play with each other inside or outside in the school playground.

Story Time
The native teacher will read the month’s picture book to the children. Then together with the children, everyone will ask questions or make a discussion about the book.

Lunch Time
The children enjoy the hot lunch that is prepared each day. They will learn how to properly use chopsticks. The children will also do their best at trying new or old foods that they may not have liked. Towels for wiping their mouths and table area are prepared and washed daily. Once a week the children will eat lunch boxes prepared for them by their mothers or fathers.
Once a month the children also enjoy helping out with the cooking for meals and are always asking for seconds saying, “May I have seconds.”

Inside/Outside Play
The children can again choose to play inside or outside during this time.
Yellow class children are also allowed to enjoy using Japanese at this time so that they will not be confused if they choose to enter a normal Japanese elementary school.

Snack Time
- Quiet Time
The children can choose their favorite book and sit down quietly with others to read the books.

Japanese Time
The children will have fun singing listening to stories in Japanese.
Then they will discuss the day’s activities and what they enjoyed and what they might have noticed for the day.

Goodbye Time
See you tomorrow.
If Yellow class has brothers or sisters in Red or Blue class, they will move to the Red classroom. Please pick up children at the Red class building.
